Erin had a lot of women’s studies moments today watching the superbowl ads. As for me, (before I left to go home and watch the puppybowl), I found them really lame and retro: I mean, really? toilet seat jokes? still?

Or is the problem that you generally sometimes need to make compromises and concessions when you’re in a relationship with someone? In that case, does the fact that my boyfriend makes me use reusable shopping bags when we’re together mean that I too deserve a penis car to go drive around recklessly in?
